The Korean Construction Company submitted the progress report of the Lowari tunnel to Federal Communications Minister Shamim Siddiqui. President of Sambu Construction Company J.W Cheong presented the report to Shamim Siddiqui during a meeting here on Monday.
Cheong said 1.5 kilometer tunnel has been completed so far, whereas the work on rest of six kilometers tunnel was left that would also be completed within the stipulated time.
Sambu Construction Company President told Shamim Siddiqui that his company was still working on the tunnel even in the inclement weather.
The Communications Minister appreciated the efforts and progress of the Korean company on Lowari tunnel and assured maximum help from the government of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion, J.W Cheong requested the minister for early provision of electricity so that they could complete construction work well in time.
Shamim Siddiqui responded positively and assured him for early provision of electricity.
