imageThe South Korean smartphone maker Samsung took a major step when it recalled its latest flagship the Galaxy Note 7, after reports that the phone battery was catching fire made headline.

However, it seems the mobile manufacturer has not learnt from its mistake, after some customers receiving the replacement devices are now complaining that the phones overheat and quickly lose battery power, while being charged.

One user was unable to recharge his battery past ten percent after leaving it connected to a power source overnight, reported YTN, a South Korean TV news network, and the battery is also draining fast, as when YTN tested the user’s device, the battery life dropped by 26 percent in only 39 minutes.

Meaning that a fully charged battery would be drained to null after only two and a half hours of usage.

However, the Wall Streets Journal reported, that the complaints have only been received in South Korean market. The issue is “completely unrelated to batteries,” said a Samsung spokesman, calling the incidents “isolated cases”, but the company is doing “close examinations” of the issue.
