I am very happy to address Karachiites that International Housing Exhibition augurs a message of hope that subject Exhibition will give them quality High Rises. The existing High Rises must be renovated and emphasis on Infrastructure to be so laid that quality of life and environments of the area are improved.
Through this Exhibition I would like that low-income group is rehabilitated in 80* - 120* plot houses throughout Sindh, in property planned colonies. These houses on small plots should cater for all amenities in a civilised society.
I expect KBCA and its supporting associates ie ABAD, PCATP, PEC etc that Town Planning and Land Escaping of areas be given priority. Most vegetation and plantation survivable on saline water be created, to give better perspective and horizon.
Lastly I congratulate Karachi Building Control Authority for a unique forum, so that public is availed a chance of meeting the defaulted Builders who have dishonoured their commitment.
The Housing Sector of this Industry is showing an upward trend during the past two years. This exhibition should examine all those factors which are a hurdle so that those are removed and Housing Industry starts to flourish. I will be glad to hear that if this Industry works on fast-track under KBCA, it will open more job opportunities from labour to engineers. I am there to serve you.
