The Karachi Port handled 108,026 tonnes of cargo including 92,991 tonnes import and 15,035 tonnes export cargo including 5,042 containers during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Thursday. The cargo comprised of 71,955 tonnes dry cargo including 65,644 tonnes general cargo; 606 tonnes cement; 1,700 rock phosphate; 4,005 tonnes fertiliser and 36,071 tonnes oil/Liquid cargo.
Four ships namely Pu He, Multan, Apl Dalian and Citius sailed out to sea during the report period.
Six vessels viz Hyundai Future, YM Star, Thor Captain, Kota Wijaya, Maersk Vilnious and Suez Express are currently at the berths.
Six ships namely Rickmers Mumbai, San Antonlo, Kota Wijaya, YM Star, Kota Teguh and Beauford Wind expected to sail on Thursday, while four vessels viz Maersk Vilnius, Apl Orchid, Suez Express and Manila Bay are expected to sail on Friday.
Two vessels viz MT Swat and Celtic Terrier due to arrive on Thursday, while seven ships namely Keefan, Wan Hai-266, Harmony, Jade Trader, Maersk Alaska, Sagamore and Lady Juliet are due to arrive on Friday.

PORT QASIM
A total cargo volume of 78,659 tonnes only comprising 68,340 tonnes import and 10,319 tonnes export inclusive of containerised cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Thursday.
The cargo comprised of 28,790 tonnes diesel oil; 3,062 tonnes palm oil; 3,015 tonnes chemicals; 7,041 tonnes wheat; 8,242 tonnes coal and 28,509 tonnes containerised cargo.
MV Sinar Sabang sailed out to sea during the report period, while three more ships namely Wadi Halfa, Nedlloyd Tiger and oil tanker Affinity are expected to sail on Thursday.
A total of two vessels viz Maersk Albama and Asian Gyro are currently at the outer anchorage.
Two ships namely container vessels viz Maersk Albama and Asian Gyro due to take berths on Thursday.
