The Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC), the infrastructure company of the capital market, has announced that its flagship Central Depository System (CDS) will not be operational on June 25 due to technical maintenance.
CDC officials informed that the scheduled technical maintenance will pave the way for smooth implementation of eCDS in near future, which being the reengineered version of existing CDS, will offer various additional functions and features to the clients. "It is in this context that the CDS will not be available for one day.
CDC officials concluded that after necessary maintenance activity, Central Depository System would be fully operational on June 27.-PR
