Four leading Pakistani exporters of textile garments are exhibiting in one of the four cities ie Guangzhou on May 28 to 30 to meet with the buyers from US apparel giants like Warnaco, the owner of brands Speedo, Calvin Klein Jeans, Nautica and Chaps. In the meantime, a China Buying Trip of leading US apparel and textile buyers and sourcing executives is visiting four apparel production centers of China for two weeks from May 20 to June 5. The trip, organised by ASAP Global Sourcing Show, the world's largest apparel sourcing show will focus on sourcing of apparel and explore join venture possibilities.
During this trip, buyers will also be able to arrange meetings with preferred factories on-site. The buyers will be visiting the four major production cities in China ie Hangzhou, Suzhou, Guangzhou and Shaoxing. Each city will host this show for three days featuring 150 carefully selected, export-ready and certified manufacturers.
The trip comprises 79 buyers from USA and 16 from Europe, each buyer with a minimum annual buying volume of US $10 million or above. The sourcing executives of many big brands like fruit of the loom, Warnaco, Beneton and Salvatore Ferragamo and retail chain stores like Marks & Spencer are accompanying the trip.
Frank Yuan CEO and Chairman of ASAP Global Sourcing Show said a buying trip of this size has never been arranged by any organisation before. The timing is perfect, and the combined purchasing power of 95 buyers will make an enormous impact on the China apparel industry. ASAP show is a wholly owner subsidiary of cyber merchants exchange (C-Me) (OTCBB: CMEE), an international electronic B2B trading company.-PR
