At least five persons were killed and another 15 injured in head on collision between a car and a passenger van at the intersection of Sunn town on Indus Highway on Monday morning. The car was coming from Hyderabad and bound for Dadu. All the inmates of car, including three nieces of former MPA Munawar Hussain Butt- identified as Afshan, Tania and Gulshad - and car driver Javed Ahmed died on the spot.
A van passenger, whose name could not be ascertained, has also been reported killed, while 15 passengers got injured, including Dr Abdul Hai Memon, Ali Bux Zardari, Fahim, Bushra and others. Bushra was said to be in a precarious condition.
The injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.
