Hungarian central bank: volatility in Hungarian assets after British vote not extreme

BUDAPEST: The increased volatility in Hungarian assets following the British vote to leave the EU cannot be considered as extreme when compared to other countries, the National Bank of Hungary said in a statement on Friday.

The bank reiterated that it was ready to manage risks and would take all necessary steps to preserve financial stability if needed.
