The National Refinery Limited (NRL) and Pakistan Refinery Limited (PRL) have jointly issued a tender to sell 200,000-250,000 tonnes of full-range naphtha for July to December, traders said on Tuesday.
The tender closes on June 8 and bids should stay valid for seven days, they said.
"The tender offers eight to 10 cargoes. Each cargo is about 25,000 tonnes," a trader said.
NRL provides two-thirds of the supply and Pakistan Refinery offers the rest, he added.
Traders said the cargoes are offered on a free-on-board (FOB) Karachi basis. The first lifting would take place either during the second or third week of July, they said.
"A cargo is due for lifting every 20 to 25 days," the trader said.
NRL last sold by tender 98,000-125,000 tonnes of full-range naphtha to Glencore for April through June loading.
The price was done at a discount of 89 cents a barrel to Singapore spot naphtha quotes on a FOB basis.
