Pakistani heartthrob Fawad Khan has become one of the popular faces of Pakistan and Indian film industry. After hosting various events in Pakistan, Fawad Khan is all set to host one of the prestigious award ceremonies of Indian film industry.
The heartthrob will be hosting a special segment of Bollywood’s biggest award show — The International Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. Fawad will be sharing the stage with his mentor Karan Johar in Madrid to host IIFA Rocks 2016 on June 24, confirms IIFA’s official ticketing website Ticketea.
IIFA Rocks 2016 will have some power-packed performances of Indian celebrities like Parineeti Chopra, Sooraj Pancholi, Pritam, Meet Brothers and Benny Dayal among others.
The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend and Awards is a celebration of the Indian cinema held every year at various global destinations. Although the main event of this year’s IIFA is said to be hosted by Indian stars Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar, Fawad Khan’s addition as a host would be the highlight of the event.
Fawad Khan had previously hosted Pakistan’s ‘Lux Style Awards’ with Mahira Khan last year.
