ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif Friday said future of FATA would be decided as per the wishes and popular will of the people and no decision will be imposed on the tribesmen.
He was talking to Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Iqbal Zafar Jhagra on matters related to development of FATA, here at the PM House.
The Prime Minister said the government was very much alive to the needs for FATA reforms. While appreciating the spirit of patriotism of tribal people, the Prime Minister said tribal people had left their homes and native places for great national cause and their sacrifices would never go in vain.
He said it was his vision that the people of FATA enjoy the same standard of living as enjoyed by the citizens of the rest of Pakistan.
