german-stock-exchangeFRANKFURT: German stocks were softer at the start of trading Friday, as the eurozone debt crisis continued to weigh on sentiment and amid ongoing concerns about the US economy.

At around 9:25 am (0725 GMT), the blue-chip DAX 30 index was showing a loss of 0.52 percent at 5,380.34 points.
