imagePESHAWAR: The Provincial Government has placed 508.4million at the disposal of district administrations of Khyber Pakthunkhwa for provision of speedy relief and assistance to people affected by the devastated earthquake of October 26.

According to PDMA, Rs508.4million funds are available with district administrations and all the Deputy Commissioners of the affected districts were directed to utilize relief funds as necessary for the assistance and rehabilitation of the earthquake victims and provide best relief to them without any delay.

As many as Rs12.34million fund is available with District Administration Abbottabad under relief head, Rs4.98million Bannu, Rs10.89 Battagram, Rs5.02million Buner, Rs26million Charsadda, Rs170 million Chitral, Rs9.85million DI Khan, Rs101.19million with Dir Lower, Rs11.78million Dir Upper, Rs14.74million Hangu and Rs14.57 million with Haripur districts.

Likewise, District Administration Karak has been provided Rs8.67millin, 7.72 million to Kohat, Rs9.28million Kohistan Upper, Rs18.90 million Lakki Marwat, Rs13.41million to Manshera, Rs8.69 million to Mardan, Rs13.41m Nowshera, Rs35 million Peshawar, Rs26.54 million Shangla, Rs8.37 million Swabi, 11.63 million Swat, 18.36 million Tank and Rs seven million to Torghar for relief works.

The PDMA has issued directives to the Revenue Department staff have been issued for immediate reporting of damages of life and properties to their respective district administration without further delay. The PDMA authorities said negligence in duties would not be tolerated and officials guilty of poor performance and irregularities would not be spared.
