Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt’s iconic movie ‘Dil Hai Ke Manta Nahi’ will soon get its sequel, and as per the latest buzz the movie will star Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead role.
The Mahesh Bhatt directorial venture did well at the box office in 1991 and the songs were a hit. The film also boosted Pooja Bhatt’s career as an actress and she now wants her sister Alia and actor Ranbir to feature in her popular sequel.
The movie revolves around Pooja playing the daughter of a business tycoon, while Aamir essayed the role of a reporter. The movie is based on a Hollywood movie ‘It Happened One Night’. About two years back rumours were that Emraan Hashmi and Alia Bhatt have been approached for the sequel but turns out that Pooja wants to tap in on the potential Ranbir and Alia have together for her much-awaited sequel, Bollywood Life reported.
Currently, Alia Bhatt is busy shooting for her upcoming movie ‘Kapoor and Sons’ while Ranbir Kapoor is busy with ‘Jagga Jasoos’. The pair is also likely to star together in Ayan Mukherji’s superhero flick.
