sk-stock-marketSEOUL: South Korean shares ended 3.86 percent higher on Tuesday amid bargain hunting and talks of possible new US stimulus measures that had boosted Wall Street shares overnight.

The benchmark KOSPI surged 65.98 points to end at 1,776.68 on heavy purchasing by institutional investors, a day after the main bourse lost 1.96 percent.
