Zimbabwe tour marked the return of International cricket in Pakistan. Pakistan has won two T20 and one ODI match against Zimbabwe and now eyeing the series win in the 2nd ODI to be played today.

According to Indian media reports, Pakistan captain Azhar Ali said he hoped his team would take advantage of Chigumbura’s absence after the visiting skipper struck 117 of 95 balls but was slapped with a two-match ban for a slow-over rate.

“I think Elton was in great form. He (Chigumbura) was their captain as well so it's a big loss for Zimbabwe, obviously as an opponent we wanted a full Zimbabwe side but it's an advantage for us and we would like to capitalize on it,” said Ali.

The Pakistani captain has also made it clear that the top priority of his side would be to seal the ongoing series and improve its chances of qualifying for the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy.

Pak-Zim will play the 2nd ODI today in Gaddafi stadium, Lahore.
