KARACHI: Karachi South Zone Sindh Police on Thursday carried out two separate operations against criminals and drug sellers in different areas. They detained 12 accused.
However, two other accused were killed in encounter while one injured.
The police recovered one Kalashnikov, 11 pistols, 11 magazines, looted articles and drugs.
South Police conducted operation in different areas against criminals in the city including Baghdadi, Chakiwara, Garden, Nabi Bux, Sadder, Boat Basin and Mauripur.
Two accused were killed in separate encounters and one escaped in inured condition. Police also arrested eight bandits.
