LAHORE: Successful councillors in local bodies elections of Cantonment Board Lahore met Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif here on Monday.
The chief minister congratulated the newly-elected councillors on their victory in the elections.
Talking to the newly-elected councillors, the chief minister said their glorious victory was the result of public service of the PML-N.
He said the PML-N had won local bodies elections in cantonment boards in Lahore and other cities adding that unjustified sit-ins caused a huge loss to the country and people had rejected protest politics in local bodies elections in the cantonment boards.
He said a process of public service should be continued with a team spirit and an all out efforts should be made in this regard as it will result in further successes.
