imageLAHORE: Lahore Stock Exchange here Tuesday witnessed bearish trend by loosing 84.93 points, as the LSE Index-25 opened with 6315.18 points and closed at 6230.25 points.

The market's overall situation, however, corresponded to an upward trend as it remained at 2.390 million shares to close against previous turnover of 1.068 million shares, showing an upward move of 1.321 million shares. While, out of the total 93 active scrips 16 moved up, 35 shed values and 42 remained equal.

The Major Gainers of the day were Pakistan Oil Fields Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Muslim Commercial Bank Limited by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 16.92, Rs 6.18 and Rs 5.50, respectively.

Engro Corporation Limited, Ferozsons Laboratories Limited and Honda Atlas Cars (Pak) Limited lost their per share value by Rs 5.95, Rs 4.52 and Rs 3.10, respectively.

Top three Volume Leaders of the day included Silk Bank Limited (Saudi) with 419,000 shares, Media Times Limited with 400,000 shares and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 312,500 shares.
