King of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan has confessed that he doesn’t deserve any award nomination for ‘Happy New Year’. ‘Happy New Year’ has been announced as a blockbuster movie with over Rs 300 crores worldwide in October 2014.
Talking to an Indian media, SRK has been quizzed on his being amiss from Filmfare Awards nomination. He responded, “I haven't acted well enough. I don't think I should be nominated. I did one film last year and since I have hosted two shows I know there are seven others or rather seventy other people who are better than me. I cannot be nominated for acting for Happy New Year. Yes, the film has done very well but as an actor I don't think I deserve to be nominated”.
King Khan has been nominated for his role in ‘Happy New Year’ in many award functions these days, among which he has also bagged one of them.
India’s most prominent and prestigious award ‘Filmfare’ will be hosted by Shahrukh Khan this year but unfortunately he has not been nominated in best actor category this year. Filmfare’s 2015 nominations for the ‘Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male)’ include Hrithik Roshan (Bang Bang), Aamir Khan (PK), Shahid Kapoor (Haider), Akshay Kumar (Holiday) and Randeep Hooda (Rang Rasiya).
