KARACHI: Gold jumped by Rs257 to new high at Rs44,914 per 10 grams in the local market Saturday, as its international price closed high at $1,627 an ounce, market sources said.
According to Karachi Saraf Association, bullion's tola (11.664 grams) price also surged by Rs300 to Rs52,400.
However, silver closed lower at Rs1,031.14 per 10 grams.
