Lack of quorum leads to NA session adjournment

ISLAMABAD: Lack of quorum led to adjournment of National Assembly session on Friday till Monday evening.

Soon after resuming debate on motion regarding terrorist attack on Army Public School Peshawar, Maulana Amir Zaman of JUI-F pointed out the quorum.

Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi adjourned the session till Monday evening due to lack of quorum after counting.

Meanwhile, Chairperson of Standing Committee on Information and Broadcasting and National Heritage Marvi Memon presented a special report of the committee in the House.

The House also passed a resolution to mark the joyous and festive occasion of Eid Milad un Nabi (Peace Be Upon Him) unanimously.

The House paid homage and respect to the holy Prophet (PBUH) in the resolution.

The resolution was moved by Ayesha Syed in the House.
