TANK: An alleged outlaw was killed during a shootout with police at village Gara Shahbaz in the outskirt of Tank City.
District Police Officer, Tank Kifayatullah Wazir told reporters on Monday that Station House Officer Tank was on routine patrolling on Tank-DI Khan Road when a notorious ringleader of dacoits, Gulzar allegedly started firing on police party that was responded by police.
During an exchange of firing, Gulzar was killed. The outlaw was wanted to police in various cases of heinous nature including murder and attempt to murder. Two hand grenades and a kalashnikov was recovered from the possession of outlaw, he added.
