After its 12th season popular TV series ‘Two and a Half Men’ will come to an end in February 2015. The makers have planned one-hour special episode to conclude the series.
According to foreign media reports, after 12 seasons and numerous cast changes, TV sitcom ‘Two and a Half Men’ is officially coming to an end Feb 19 next year. The series will conclude with a special one-hour episode following ‘The Big Bang Theory’. During its run, the show, which currently stars Ashton Kutcher and Jon Cryer, ranked for years as television’s most watched comedy. It also earned 47 Emmy Awards.
The TV series, which was once the highest-rated TV comedy in the US, had even replaced show’s star Charlie Sheen, after he made some disapproving comments about creator Chuck Lorre, and was replaced by Ashton Kutcher in 2011. Though ‘Two and a Half Men’ took a bit of a ratings dip after Sheen's departure, it still has managed to pull in viewers, with the last season averaging about 10.1 million an episode.
With several ups and downs, the longest running TV show will conclude in February and might be replaced by another show ‘The McCarthy’.
