imageEver heard the saying ‘You are what you eat/drink’? According to Los Angeles-based psychologist Dr. Ramani Durvasula, coffee preference can suggest certain personality traits. A survey of 1,000 coffee drinkers claims to explain their personality styles and psychological traits based on their tastes and preferences.

The survey alleges Espresso drinkers ‘actually’ know the taste and essence of coffee. It claims they are generally friendly and adaptive people with lots of life experiences. The survey claims they are generally charismatic, energetic and the life of the party. While Double Espresso lovers apparently tend to be hard working yet full of life. They are those that live with the view that ‘one’ is never quite enough.

Latte lovers were described as not knowing the taste of ‘real’ coffee. The survey results described their personalities as indecisive and with a preference for safer choices. Latte drinkers were seen as laid-back.

Mocha drinkers were stereotyped as overly affectionate, compassionate and insightful. The survey indicates that Mocha drinkers are true romantics and chronic flirts. You are fun loving but really ‘hate’ the taste of coffee.

Ice coffee/ cold coffee drinkers were categorized as outspoken, with a desire to live your life on their own conditions like a small child who really needs to grow up in terms of taste like “Frappuccino lovers who also claims to love coffee but actually, they only like Ice-cream”. But on the brighter side they were seen as highly fashionable and real extroverts.
