Melody queen Lata Mangeshkar, who has great respect for megastar Amitabh Bachchan, was so moved by the megastar reciting few lines on his TV show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ which left her in tears.
The legendary singer started off by appreciating the game show’s final episode then she further tweeted, “On hearing Amitji reciting these lines, my eyes filled with tears, there is a special place for you in my heart. I greatly respect you. May god always keep you happy, give you long life and keep you healthy”.
Amitabh Bachchan also took to Twitter to thank Lata Mangeshkar for her warm wishes.
He was so overwhelmed by Mangeshkar’s tweets and thanked her for the kind words. “Lata ji, I am at a loss for words. I don’t know how to thank you enough. I am grateful for your blessings,” Bachchan posted on Twitter.
Amitabh Bachchan is currently busy shooting for his next movie ‘Piku’ along with Deepika Padukone. The ‘Madras Café’ director, who is a Bengali, said he is glad that Mr.Bachchan knows his mother-tongue and he enjoys having conversation with the Megastar of Bollywood on the sets.
