FAISALABAD: The birth anniversary of poet-philosopher Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal would be celebrated here on Sunday (November 09) to befittingly tribute Poet of the east.
Allama Iqbal played a pivotal role through his poetry in motivating and mobilizing the Muslims of Subcontinent.This materialised in the creation of a separate homeland for Muslims in the region.
Various educational institutes would arrange special functions on the vision, philosophy and poetry of Allama Muhammad Iqbal.Seminars,debates and quiz programs would also be held to pay tributes to Allama Iqbal who dreamt of a modern and progressive Islamic state.
