Former British Soccer star David Beckham said Queen Elizabeth II is ‘the most amazing person I have ever met in Britain’.
Beckham has awarded an ‘OBE’ in 2003 at Buckingham Palace. ‘OBE’ (The Order of the British Empire) recognizes distinguished service to the arts and sciences, public services outside the civil service and work with charitable and welfare organizations of all kinds.
The former England captain was raised in a patriotic family, he is very traditionalist. He says nothing in his life can compare to the meeting with ‘Royal Queen’ at Buckingham Palace in London
According to foreign media reports Beckham said, “Queen Elizabeth II is the most amazing woman. I'm a real traditionalist, I'm a real royalist. The fact that I've been to Buckingham Palace and I've been able to meet the Queen, that's the best thing I've ever done”.
“My grandparents brought me up to be a real royalist. They would make us sit down on Christmas Day and watch the Queen's speech and they would take us to the changing of the guard”, he added.
Beckham has played for Manchester United, Real Madrid and LA Galaxy. Beckham enjoyed a two decade football career before he called time at the end of the 2012-13 seasons.
