KARACHI: The flag hoisting ceremony was organised at MQM Central Punjab head-office in Lahore on the occasion of 68th Independence Day.
The members MQM Rabita Committee Syed Aminul Haq, Wasim Akhtar, Iftikhar Randhava and Abdul Haseeb hoisted the national flag.
They prayed for the progress and prosperity of the country, said a statement issued by MQM here on Friday.
They also prayed for good health and long life of MQM chief Altaf Hussain while President MQM-Central Punjab Amir Baloch and workers were also present on the occasion.
