Sidharth Malhotra, Anushka Sharma to share screen space

According to the Hindustan Times Anushka Sharma will appear alongside Sidharth Malhotra in Tarun Mansukhani’s next film.

The film, to be co-produced by Karan Johar and Siddharth Roy Kapur, will be an adaption of French film ‘Priceless’, which was directed by Pierre Salvadori.

The Hindustan Times quoted an insider as saying, "film-maker Karan Johar has joined hands with an international studio headed by Siddharth Roy Kapur for this large-scale project. He (Karan) has come on board as a co-producer."

Alia Bhatt was also in contention for the lead role, but Sharma has reportedly been finalized.

"But they want to go ahead with Sidharth and Anushka now as they feel their pairing will give the film a fresh and young vibe. Although they both have agreed to do the film in principle, they are yet to sign any papers," the source added.

Meanwhile, Sharma will next be seen in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bombay Velvet’ co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. The film is slated to release on November 28^th.
