According to the Indian Express Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is set to make a comeback on the silver screen in a Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual directed by Mani Ratnam.
After three years break, Aishwarya has finally given her nod to her favourite director and has signed on to star opposite Tollywood stars Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mahesh Babu.
The news has been confirmed by Mani Ratnam’s wife, Suhasini in a recent interview to a regional channel, the Indian Express reports.
The yet-untitled film, which expected to go on the floor from June this year, will be a spy thriller like Hollywood’s ‘Bourne Identity’ and ‘Mission Impossible’.
The 40-year-old actress has worked with Ratnam before in films 'Raavan', 'Guru 'and ‘Iruvar’.
