Lahore-Stock-ExchangeLAHORE: The Lahore Stock Exchange (LSE) witnessed bullish trend by gaining 9.58 points on Thursday, as LSE-25 index opened with 3170.73 and closed at 3180.31 points.

The market's overall situation also remained bullish with 2.602 million shares to close against previous day's turnover of 1.560 million shares, showing a difference of 1.041 million shares.

While, out of the total 114 active scrips 67 remained equal, 23 shed values and 24 scrips scaled up.

Millat Tractors Limited, Pakistan State Oil Company Limited and Dawood Hercules Chemicals were major gainer of the day by recording increase in their per share value by Rs 14, Rs 3.50 and Rs 1.80 respectively.

Oil and Gas Development Company Limited, Adamjee Insurance Company and Engro Corporation Limited lost their per share value by Rs 1.29, Rs 1.07 and Re 0.87 respectively.

The volume leader of the day included Silkbank Limited (Saudi) with turnover of 1.604 million shares, Japan Power Generation with 211,000 and The Bank of Punjab Limited with 118,473 shares.
