imageAccording to The Times of India Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor regrets not continuing her education.

"Be it a village or a city, education is very important and it always comes into you," the 33-year-old actress told IANs.

"(Education) is one of the most important things and we should always encourage children to be educated, go to school, and go to college."

The ‘Heroine’ actress made her Bollywood debut with the film ‘Refugee’ when she was 20 years old. After that she got so busy with her film shoots that the actress couldn’t give time to her studies. Kapoor joined the Government Law College in Bombay, but reportedly left after a year.

"I think I couldn't study as I have always been interested in films. But today I regret that.”

"It is important to be well read, at least a little bit," the 33-year-old actress was quoted as saying.

Kapoor will next be seen in Punit Malhotra's film ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ alongside Imran Khan. The film is slated to release on Nov 22nd of this month.
