CM to distribute laptops among UAF faculty on March 1

FAISALABAD: Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif will distribute 461 laptops among faculty members of the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF) on March 1 at Government College University Lahore (Kala Shah Kako) campus.

A spokesman for the university said here on Thursday that laptop recipients would be teachers supervising either M.Phil or PhD students or be the students of M.Phil or PhD classes in the University.

He said 2640 UAF students would receive laptops by the chief minister on March 2 during a ceremony to be held at GCUF new campus on Jhang Road, Faisalabad.

A meeting to make arrangements for functions was held in New Syndicate Hall with UAF VC Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan in the chair here on Thursday.

The meeting was apprised of arrangements so far been made to hold the All Pakistan Students Week at UAF.

The national event is set to be held from March 3 to March 8 at Iqbal Auditorium of the University.
