Another Hazara injured of Quetta blast dies
QUETTA: Another Hazara woman injured of Karani road water tanker blast succumbed to her burn injuries while being shifted from Quetta to Karachi Wednesday night and death toll of the dead surged to 91.
Sources in Health Department told APP that on the directives of Governor Balochistan Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi after the demand put by different organizations, about 37 injured who earlier were being treated in Combined Military Hospital Quetta were shifted to Karachi-based private hospitals through C-130 plane.
"A seriously injured woman Afshan who was on ventilator succumbed to her burn wounds on the way to Karachi," the official sources said adding that earlier, doctors had warned that shifting of seriously injured of Karani road blast through C-130 plane to Karachi might be dangerous for the victims, however, on the insisting of some different organizations' leaders, the government arranged C-130 plane for the shifting of wounded from CMH Quetta to Karachi.
The Hazara injured who were shifted to Karachi include 19 men, 10 women and eight children.
