US Consul General meets Deputy Commissioner South

KARACHI: US Consul General (CG), Michael Dodman met Deputy Commissioner, Karachi-South, Mustafa Jamal Kazi in his office on Friday and discussed issues related to polio campaigns in the district.

According to a press release issued by the office of DC- South, Mustafa Jamal Kazi apprised him in details about the arrangements made for oral polio vaccination campaign in the district, that also includes areas where resistance was registered against the vaccine during previous occasions.

The Deputy Commissioner specifically referred to arrangements made by the administration for the protection of workers engaged in OPV administration.

He also referred to steps taken for the welfare of people in general.

The US Consul General appreciated the administrative measures adopted in the district South of the metropolis.
