school student1 400HYDERABAD: Administrator Hyderabad Metropolitan Corporation Syed Barkat Ahmed Rizvi has linked the opening of new educational institutions in private sector with acquisition of "no objection certificate" (NOC) from the town administration.

Strict action will be taken against those who violated the decision, he said.

Besides obtaining NOC from the town administration for opening new educational institutions in private sector, he said the interested persons should also seek NOC from the neighbours of the school premises.

The Administrator HMC announced these decisions while presiding over a meeting with the owners of private schools here in the office of Town Administrator Latifabad on Thursday. Director Education Shahida Parveen and Administrator Latifabad Shabbir Qaimkhani were also present on the occasion, the HMC spokesman informed.

The Administrator also expressed his concern over traffic jam occurring outside the private schools during their opening and closing hours and asked the owners of the schools to prepare effective traffic management plan and also deploy staff for parking of vehicles with allocation of parking area. In case, the school management uses the state land it should pay rent to the town administration, he added.

While taking notice of encroachments outside the school buildings, the HMC Administrator also asked the town administrators to remove all such encroachment after taking the concerned school management onboard and issue legal notice prior to initiating action in this regard.

He also requested the schools management to remove encroachments outside of their respective schools within 15 days otherwise the town administration will take necessary legal action.

The owners of the private schools assured the Administrator HMC of extending their full cooperation including overcoming the problem of traffic jam outside their school premises.
