KARACHI: Special Assistant to Chief Minister Sindh on Media and Auqaf Sharmila Faruqui has congratulated newly elected office bearers of Karachi Press Club (KPC) on their successful election of KPC for 2012-13.
Sharmila expressed hope that newly elected KPC office bearers would continue their efforts for the betterment of their community and strengthening democratic institutions, said a statement issued on Tuesday.
She said democracy and journalism go together and government firmly believes in freedom of expression. She assured them her full cooperation.
