FAISALABAD: Two friends were killed by taking poisonous liquor in the area of D-Type Colony police station.
According to the police, Ali Adnan and his friends Kashif, Javaid and Ghulam Hussain purchased Ponda liquor from a drug peddler Nadeem Tedi and took it.
The liquor was reportedly poisonous due to which they all became unconscious and were rushed to hospital where Javaid and Ghulam Husain expired while Ali Adnan and Kashif are reported to be in critical conditions still and the doctors are striving to save their lives.
The police registered a case against drug pusher Nadeem Tedi on the complaint of Adnan Ali.
