bank-of-japan TOKYO: The Bank of Japan on Friday kept interest rates unchanged and held off further easing measures, opting not to build on the boost to its asset-purchase programme announced last month.

The BoJ said in a statement that its policy board had voted unanimously to keep rates at between zero and 0.1 percent.
