KARACHI: CNG filling stations will remain closed from September 1 (Saturday) at 9am till September 2 (Sunday) 9am, the media reported on Saturday.
Sparse traffic was witnessed in the metropolis due to the closure. Public transport was also thin resulting in problems for the commuters.
A large number of vans and buses stayed off the road while inter-city routes were also affected by the closure of the CNG stations.
It may be mentioned that commuters end up paying higher fares due to the situation.
