A funeral prayers of Nawab Ashiq Hussain Qureshi, cousin of Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, was held here on Saturday. The Foreign Minister, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, Punjab Governor Punjab Muhammad Sarwar, Punjab Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakht, Members Assembly Syed Abbas Ali Shah and peoples from various walks of life attended the funeral prayer. On the occasion, the Chief Minister expressed his condolence to Qureshi and bereaved family members and also offered Fatiha for the departed soul.
Meanwhile, the CM expressed a deep sense of sorrow and grief over the sad demise of Abdul Ghafoor Wattoo, Chairman of Royal TV channel. In a condolence message, he prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and strength to the members of the bereaved family to bear the irreparable loss with fortitude.
