PML-N leader Maryam Nawaz Monday met her father, Nawaz Sharif, in Kot Lakhpat Jail and discussed important issues. Sources said that the meeting between the two lasted for more than an hour. Both also had breakfast together at the prison.
Maryam Nawaz and Nawaz Sharif exchanged thoughts over the current political situation in the country, the sources said, adding: "Maryam also briefed her father regarding her consultation with legal team, which is preparing case for Nawaz Sharif's bail." The sources claimed that Nawaz was in high spirit.
The former premier has been imprisoned in Lahore's Kot Lakhpat jail after an accountability court handed him a seven-year jail term in the Al-Azizia Steel Mills reference.
