imageLAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif Saturday directed concerned departments to carry out work on war footing for the rehabilitation of link roads.

Flow of traffic should be restored if needed, through bailey bridges, he said.

He said that relief activities have been accelerated in flood-hit areas of south Punjab whereas instructions have been issued to administration for carrying out survey of losses and survey has been started in this regard.

He said that flood affectees are our brother and sisters and complete care of their needs is being taken.

The Chief Minister said that meals should be provided to flood affectees on time in the camps and there should be no shortage in provision of best treatment facilities to the affectees and their children.
