LAHORE: A dacoit was killed in an encounter with Millat Park police here on Wednesday.
Police said that four bandits riding two motorcycles were looting passers-bye at gun point in Millat Park area. On receiving information, police reached the spot. On seeing police, dacoits opened firing at them which led to cross firing.
As a result, one of them, who was later identified as Ahsan Khalid, killed on the spot while his accomplice fled.
The body of killed dacoits was shifted to morgue for autopsy.
