imageZimbabwe tour to Pakistan has helped a lot to revive the International cricket in the country which was lost since the militant attack on Sri Lanka team in 2009. Pakistan’s Test skipper Misbah-ul-Haq is amazed by the enthusiasm of the crowd in Lahore.

He said, “I have never seen this kind of support before, the crowd was enjoying and appreciating each and every run taken by the team”. Misbah said he had only witnessed such an atmosphere in India, local media reported.

Misbah believes this gives a clear-cut message to everyone throughout the world that you can’t just separate the Pakistani nation from cricket.

Thronged by fans, Misbah said, “We still love this game - even after six years, the passion is still there. The stadium is jam-packed. Every nation, especially the cricket playing-nations should come to Pakistan and help Pakistan out,” NDTV reported.

Pakistan cricket board is now keen to host Sri Lanka and Bangladesh in coming months.
