imageQUETTA: A delegation of PML-N Parliamentarians from Balochistan here on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif at the Governor House.

Federal ministers Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Abdul Qadir Baloch, former prime minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali, as well as Minister of State Jam Kamal were also present during the meeting.

The Prime Minister said that government had formulated the National Action Plan which was finalized by entire spectrum of country's political leadership as well as the military.

"We have a firm resolve to uproot terrorism from the country and the government will not sit idle till the complete elimination of terrorism from the country, the Prime Minister said, adding, there is no space for violence in the country."

He said the federal government would give full assistance to the provincial government allowing it to successfully implement the National Action Plan.

The Prime Minister said the government was taking steps to overcome power shortage in the country during its tenure in office.

Later, a JUI-F delegation led by Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haidri Minister of State for Postal Services met the Prime Minister and discussed political matters.

The Prime Minister also attended a dinner hosted by Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai, which was also attended by chief minister Balochistan, federal ministers, provincial ministers, Army Chief, Commander Southern Command, parliamentarians from Balochistan and notables from across the province.
