imageLAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab president Mian Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo has demanded a joint session of the parliament for a comprehensive discussion on terrorism.

In a statement issued here on Friday, he said a joint session was also needed to discuss those organisations which were working to prepare a terrorist mind-set in the society.

He said the collective wisdom of the national political leadership at last supported the stance of the PPP that force was needed to combat terrorism as they believed in barbarism and did not know the meanings of delicacy.

Wattoo said it was a good sign that whole political leadership was on one page against terrorism and it would play a decisive role in eradication of terrorism from the society.

He stressed the need for national unity to defeat terrorists and terrorism.

He suggested the government to take all Muslim countries especially friends on board regarding strategy against terrorism as their cooperation would be helpful in it.
