Actor Kamal Haasan’s daughter Shruti Haasan is not only known for her brilliant acting chop, but also for singing talent. Recently, the actress lends her voice to an online campaign for AIDS awareness.
‘Luck’ actress decided to support the campaign called ‘Teach AIDS’ to spread the word especially among youth. The online campaign will be launched in collaboration with video-sharing site YouTube soon.
As source revealed that, Shruti Hassan is someone who is considered to be a youth icon. Hence, she was approached by the team to lend her voice to the campaign because she had to build awareness for a cause she truly believes in and had to be herself while doing this.
Shruti has given her voice in three languages to the animated video campaign, which spans information across all aspects of AIDS in a conversational manner. The video will be available in English, Tamil and Telugu, media reported.
Shruti has also sung for Arjun Kapoor starrer ‘Tevar’ track ‘Joganiyan’, which has garnered positive reviews. The actress is tied up with her work commitments in Bollywood and southern film industry, managed to take some time out for a good cause.
