The sequel to the 2011 sleeper hit ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’ is ready to go on floor in October with the fresh new faces. But, Kartik Aaryan, who stole the limelight with his five minute long popular monologue, is back in the movie.
The makers have decided to repeat the actor in the sequel as his character was much appreciated by the audience. And now director Luv Ranjan is planning to shoot an eight minute long monologue with the actor, after the rage that the last five minute one created, media reported.
Aaryan confirmed the news and said in an interview to an Indian media, “During the narration, I was surprised when I came to know that there’s another lengthy monologue this time too. And it will be more intense and hard-hitting. Even when I was promoting ‘Kaanchi’, people kept asking me to repeat those lines from the original, reinforcing the fact that the film had hit the right chord. Hopefully, we will be able to achieve the same effect, second time around”.
According to media reports Abhishek Pathak, the film’s producer said, “It’s true we are working on a sequel but the story is very different, though we have retained the spirit of the film. We will start shooting soon. The cast is a mix of the old and new and has been finalised, but we are not revealing any names as of now”.
The original plot revolves around three bachelors who find girls whom they fall in love with and the twists and turns of the new-age love stories.
